Information for Trial Participants

CCRep is a charitable research trust working in partnership with Counties Manukau District Health Board to conduct clinical trials at Middlemore Hospital, and the Botany and Manukau SuperClinics.

CCRep has an obligation to explain to its trial participants what a clinical trial is and how participants are protected. The following documents outlines information for potential participants on clinical trials.

Trials that are sponsored by a pharmaceutical company may not be covered by the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC). Compensation will be provided by the pharmaceutical company sponsoring the trial to the extent described in the Researched Medicines Industry (RMI) Guidelines. (See PDF below)
