	Dr Stuart Ryan - General Manager Dr Ryan joined CCRep from industry where he was Clinical Research Manager for Fisher & Paykel Healthcare for 5 years. He holds a PhD from the University of Auckland and has also worked in medical publishing and as a research scientist. 	Dr John Baker - CCRep Clinical Director Dr John Baker has been a diabetes physician since 1983 and led the formation of the Diabetes Service at Middlemore Hospital as Clinical Head from 1998-2003. He co-founded Protemix Corporation Ltd in 1999, a biotechnology company investigating novel compounds for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. He went on to become Chief Medical Officer for Protemix for 2 years before returning to CMDHB in October 2005 to take up a dual role as a physician in Internal Medicine for CMDHB and as Clinical Director for CCRep. 	Murray Farnsworth - Financial Manager Mr Murray Farnsworth is a chartered accountant active in both industry and health care. He is responsible for financial management, contract review and working with CCRep staff identifying and developing new business opportunities. He spent four years in the Air force as a paramedic including training periods at Middlemore and Greenlane hospitals before leaving to attend university. 	Mrs Mary Baldwin - Research Nurse Manager Mary has many years experience in health and nursing management in addition to professional development, education and training for nurses. Her clinical research experience was gained while working in London for 3 years as a Research Nurse for the West London Cancer Research Network. 	Ms Ruth Withers - Project Manager - Diabetes, Stroke, ICU, Infectious Disease, Devices Ruth is responsible for all aspects of clinical trial management within the areas of Diabetes, Stroke, Intensive Care Medicine, Infectious Diseases and device trials. Ms Withers has previously worked for the Cochrane Collaboration in NZ and as Executive in the Office of Biomedical Research at the National University Hospital of Singapore before moving to CCRep. 	Ms Taina von Blaramberg - Project Manager - Paediatrics, Haematology, Hepatology Taina is responsible for all aspects of clinical trial management within the areas of Haematology, Paediatrics and Hepatology. Taina has previously worked as a project manager on the NZ Meningococcal B Vaccination Campaign and as a Research Nurse in Melbourne. 	Mrs Lynda Mockett - Project Manager - Respiratory, Renal, Rheumatology Lynda is a senior registered nurse and holds a Masters of Health Science in nursing and post graduate qualifications in organisation management and research. She has previous experience in research and in nurse leadership from her role as Senior Lecturer at UNITEC and more recently as a Nursing Educator at CMDHB. 	Ms Yvonne Dunn - Project Manager - Cardiology Yvonne is responsible for all aspects of clinical trial management within the area of Cardiology. Ms Dunn has previously worked as a cardiac nurse but has moved into management in 2002 and comes to CCRep from being a director and operations manager in the NZ wellness company Well For Life. 	Miss Jo-Ann McLeish - Research Support Officer/Administrator Jo-Ann comes to CCRep with a background of 7 years as a Clinical Coder at CMDHB, and 8 years employed as an Industrial Hygienist. 	Ms Alison Robertson - CMDHB Research Officer Alison worked as a Research Nurse for 5 years coordinating clinical trials in hepatology, one of which was audited by the FDA prior to regsitration of the medication under investigation. Alison is responsible for facilitating research at Counties Manukau DHB by supporting local researchers and advising others who wish to collaborate with local researchers.
