Dr Samar Issa
Founding Clinical Director
Dr. Issa is a consultant haematologist and Clinical Head of the Lymphoma Service at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Issa graduated from School of Medicine, Baghdad University. She further trained in Auckland where she gained fellowships of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Dr Issa undertook a fellowship in translational research at the University of California San Francisco. Her research focused on central nervous system lymphoma. Dr Issa is an active member of a number of scientific groups and is the founding chair of the Lymphoma Network of New Zealand.

Daphne Mason

Daphne Mason is a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist with over 26 years experience in New Zealand pathology. Prior to joining the Middlemore Tissue Bank she held a senior management position at Diagnostic MedLab leading a team of 55 people. Previously, Daphne has held positions as Laboratory Manager at North Shore Hospital and a Graded Officer at National Womens and Green Lane Hospitals specialising in blood gas analysis and Near Patient Testing. Daphne holds a DipMLS (NZIMLS), DipBus (University of Auckland), and an MBA (Henley Management College, UK).

Dr Stuart Ryan
General Manager
Dr Ryan joined CCRep in 2004 from industry where he was Clinical Research Manager for Fisher & Paykel Healthcare for 5 years. He holds a PhD from the University of Auckland and has also worked in medical publishing and as a research scientist. Dr Ryan is responsible for the overall performance and management of CCRep including legal obligations and financial management.
