A workshop for new investigators
Target Audience: Suitable for people with a professional healthcare background (including nursing and Allied Health professionals) who are interested in developing their own research projects, but have little or no experience.
Content: Topics covered include developing a research idea, when to consult a biostatistician, obtaining funding, quantitative and qualitative research methods (surveys, focus groups), nursing perspective of research, ethics and regulatory documentation, cultural considerations and much more.

Speakers: A variety of top quality speakers from CMDHB and CCRep have been arranged to participate and facilitate sessions.
