How CCRep Manages Clinical Trials

CCRep is the coordinating centre for commercially sponsored clinical trials being conducted at CMDHB. In fact, we have been described as "the most well developed DHB-linked research organisation in NZ" (Health Delivery Research Landscape Report. Ministry of Research Science and Technology, 2009).

Figure 1 (below) shows the relationships that may exist between Sponsors and Contract Research Organisations (CROs) with CCRep, CMDHB and the trial investigators.

CCRep has an infrastructure that provides pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies with a broad range of clinical research services in support of Phase I-IV drug and device development.
