CCRep Innovation Fund Winners Announced
Over the last 12 months CCRep has invested $93,000 to support innovation activity at CMDHB. In December 2011, a further 8 projects have been funded. Projects range from investigating the use of a sailing simulator to help people with spinal cord injury through to the measurement of perioperative troponin I levels in patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery. All projects must be completed within 12 months.

2011 Annual Report released
CCRep's performance over the last 12 months has excceded forecast expectations - 81 clinical trials conducted, with further growth in investigator-initiated projects and research support capability, as well as robust financial results.
CCRep has developed into a thriving research organisation and is now also able to report formally on the Middlemore Tissue Bank - which is now operational collecting it's first sample on December 16, 2010.
